The brief for this project was to develop a layout that achieved the best vantage point of views and to provide a crisp café look for the restaurant.

The design and documentation of this waterside restaurant, incorporates the selection of materials and finishes that create a welcoming environment. Dark recycled timbers were used for flooring, seating and joinery elements. Downlights have been added along the perimeter of the bar to highlight this zone, whilst pendant lighting have been placed in a linear fashion directly above the tables, to provide ambience through the soft glow that reflects off the crisp white linen.

The views and abundance of natural light was captured with the installation of floor to ceiling windows and draws out the colour of the timber against the variation in natural lighting. The refined colour palette provides texture and depth without competing with the views.
